How long do bespoke metal art pieces take to create?
Each bespoke piece is created from scratch. Depending on the size and characteristic of the piece, times may vary. But as an estimate:
Metal Horseheads Sculptures - 2 to 3 months
Metal Wall Art Sculptures - 6 to 8 weeks
Metal Animal Sculptures - 6 to 8 weeks
Metal Lamps and Lighting Fixtures - 6 to 8 weeks
Where do you sculpt your pieces of art?
My studio is based in a petit little village in North Yorkshire.
How to look after my sculptures?
To maintain your metal sculptures in good condition a little bit of aftercare is needed. You can find information on how to care for both indoor and outdoor sculptures on the Aftercare Instructions page. For more tailored advice, don’t hesitate to get in touch with me.
Is there a discount on the price if I were to buy more than one?
Offering discounts I believe devalues the work and your investment. However, depending on how much you collect, I may potentially offer some prints as a gift.
Where do you source the materials for your sculptures?
I source my horseshoes from local Farriers in Yorkshire. For my horse pieces involving car parts, I have used bits from my past cars as well as visiting local Scrap yards. I find standard metal bars and sheets online as it saves me time, so I can get back to the making.
Can I see any of your art in public?
I currently have a full-scale rearing horse made from horseshoes on display at the Prestigious Horse racing grounds of Cheltenham Racecourse. This is also the first horse sculpture I ever made.
I have a family of wild boars on display at Mother Shiptons Cave, based in Knaresborough, North Yorkshire.
Lastly, I designed a public community sculpture for Selby Town Council of a Viking boat to reflect the past.
Why horses?
Since sculpting them from an early age I've found horses so captivating and majestic. I really enjoy the challenge of capturing their essence of power, grace, and composure.
What was participating in BBC’s ‘Home Is Where the Art
Is’ show like?
It was such a surreal yet amazing and fascinating experience. It's hard to describe the whirlwind journey it took me on, but if you would like to know more about my experience you can read my blog about it all here.
Is there any VAT or hidden charges?

How do I pay?
At the moment, you can pay for your chosen metal art piece through a bank transfer or Paypal. Soo, a new payment service will be available on my website.
