Why I sculpt from Recycled Car Panels and Metals?
Working with metal helps me capture the essence of what I aim to express pared back forms that explore movement, balance, and emotion. I’m not trying to show everything, but just enough. It’s about leaving space for others to connect, reflect, and imagine their own story in the work.
Using recycled car panels brings bold colour and unique textures into my work, while also celebrating the beauty and importance of creating sustainably.
Hello I’m Ollie, a metal sculptor from
North Yorkshire…
Ollie Holman creates striking metal sculptures, from full-scale horses to expressive figurative works.
Working primarily with steel and recycled materials, he hand-shapes each piece by eye hammering, cutting, and forming metal into bold yet refined forms.
His work captures a balance of strength and sensitivity, particularly in his equine sculptures, where power and grace meet through raw material and instinctive technique.
